Installing the Chassis into the Rack
Once the rails are attached to the chassis and the rack, the chassis is ready to be installed into the rack.
Important: Use caution when mounting or removing the system from the rack. For large systems, at least one other person must assist during installation or removal. Follow the safety recommendations printed on the rails. Depending on the size of the system, you might need to use a lift.

Push the inner slides, which are attached to the chassis, into the grooves of the outer slide assemblies that are installed in the rack as shown below.
Important: This figure is for illustrative purposes only. Always install servers to the bottom of a rack first.

Slide the chassis rails into the rack rails until the chassis is completely inserted into the rack.
