I have SYS-1028U-E1CR4+ and installed ESXi 6.0 version. How do I install IPMICFG onto server.

Answer
Please follow general steps:

1. enable esxi shell

2. download IPMICFG utility

3. extract 64bit folder from IPMICFG-Linux folder

4. transfer the folder to the host IP using ftp/sftp utility

5. navigate from the esxi shell to the files

6. make ipmicfg executable ie: chmod +x IPMICFG-Linux

7. now you can run IPMICFG in esxi shell
