Question
What type of Data Protection from Power Loss, does the M.2-SSD incorporate
Print
Answer

Current M.2-SSD designs incorporate a Power Failure Management scheme, whereby, the user data stored in the non-volatile flash memory is well protected and readable after re-boot, even when suffering from sudden power loss.

Future M.2-SSD designs will incorporate full Power Loss Protection(PLP) of data in transit, in the event the host/system loses power.
