Question
I am using a SuperServer 6021I with two 160GB hard drives with IDE RAID. However, RedHat 7.2 cannot see the controller after the driver for Promise is installed. What is the problem?

Answer
The problem is RedHat cannot see RAID array of more than 130GB. There are few ways to go around this limitation:

1. Use IDE HDD that is 130GB or less

2. RedHat 8.0 does not have this symptom. You can use this OS or newer version instead.
