I have your X5DE8-GG motherboard in a server and it will run 7/24 365 days. If power fails, will the system restart automatically once power is restored?

Yes, under the BIOS setup "Peripheral Device Configuration", the default setting "Power Lost Control" is "Last State". What this means is if system was on and power got cut off, it would restart automatically after the power is restored.
