Your X5DAL-TG2 supports SATA (serial ATA), does it support RAID and if it does what kind of RAID controller do I need?

Our X5DAL-TG2 has two SATA controllers on board, each controller supports two SATA hard drives, I you want to do RAID 0 or RAID 1 (on a single channel) you don't need any additional controller card, you can set this in the bios. If you want to do RAID 5 you will have to insert an the ZCRINT RAID card (from Supermicro only) in the Green slot of the Mainboard.
