I had your X5DE8-GG motherboard which is has external SCSI port. I have trouble find the tower chassis that have open port for external SCSI connector. Do you have any of your Tower Chassis that fit with this motherboard?

Since the X5DE8-GG motherboard design with external SCSI connector for 1u or 2u Rack Mount Chassis solution. If you need to use with Tower Chassis then you can use our CBL-0029 internal/external SCSI cable solution.
