Question
I have a SuperMicro SC742 chassis and my system won't boot with the motherboard installed in the chassis, but it works fine outside the chassis.

Answer
Check your screws to make none of them are screwed to tight. This problem may be caused by one of the motherboard stand-offs being misaligned. Rubber bumpers may be required to correctly mount the motherboard.
