Question: I want to have the following configuration on 6025W-NTR+B Server
Total 8 HDDs:
2 x 72GB HDDs configures as RAID1
2 x 72GB HDDs configures as RAID1
4 x 146GB HDDs configures as RAID10
I am planning to use AOC-USASLP-S8i. However, in the past
I have found that some RAID controllers have limitations such as the no. of
HDDs supported in a RAID volume and the maximum no. of RAID volumes that
can be configured.
I downloaded the manual of AOC-USASLP-S8i but did not find any such detail.
Can you please confirm if this controller has any such limitation?
Yes, such configuration is feasible. The limitations you mentioned are mostly on onboard host RAID, not on these USAS cards.
