The OS will auto-detect the wrong RealTek RLK8111C LAN chip driver for X7SLM, X7SLM+ and X7SLM-L motherboards. What is the correct one?

The correct driver for this chip is RTL8168.

In Windows 2003 and 2008 for example, you have to run setup.exe to install the driver manually.

In Linux, the wrong driver shown after you install is RLK8169. You have to manually re-compile to install the driver to RTL8168.
