Question
I'm running Solaris 10 (10/08’ version) on a X8SAX motherboard, but the OS is unable to see the Intel Duel 82574L Gigabit Ethernet Controller. Are there drivers available or a BIOS change that can be made so Solaris can see the LAN?

Pleases make sure you have the latest update for this OS. If OS does not have the driver built-in, then you may have to use an add-on NIC card which can be recognized by OS since official Intel site do not have driver for this OS either:
