Why does my USB keyboard and mouse stop working after I installed all the drivers and reboot in Windows XP or Windows 2003 64-bit SP1?

Please upgrade to Service Pack 2 or uninstall all USB root drivers in Device Manager and rescan for the hardware changes. Please refer to Microsoft hotfix #921411 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921411/en-us for more information.
