M.2 NVMe Drive Bays

The SYS-822GS-NBRT supports two M.2 NVMe drive bays. M.2 is a compact, high-performance storage drive form factor.

Installing M.2 Drive Bays

  1. Remove power from the system.

  2. Remove the system from the rack and place on a workbench.

  3. Insert the M.2 drive bay as shown below.

  4. Return the system to the rack.
