Question
I just purchase Supermicro chassis SC-846E16-R1K62B and X9QRI-F+ with 2 CPUs installed. The system power up OK and running fine, however the LAN ports were not detected. Do i need to change BIOS settings to make them work?

Answer
You need to install all 4 CPUs in order for LAN ports to work. If you look at the block diagram, the LAN controller is connected to CPU4.
