Question
We get the following error from our system "Warning Controller ID:0 PD Predictive failure:0:2". What does it mean? Can this also cause the drive performance to decrease?

Answer
Yes, it can. This is not a error, but a warning. It probably comes from the smart system of a hard drive. It measures the integrity and performance of the drive, and when it falls below a certain threshold, it will give you this warning. There is a probability that the drive may fail in the near future and you have to replace that drive before it fails completely.
