We are putting together a number of SSE-X24SR and SSE-G48-TG4 switches including the AOM-SSE-X2F XFP fiber modules. Are the AOC-E10GSFPSR optics supported in the AOM-SSE-X2F XFP fiber modules? If not, do weneed to move to the AOM-SSE-X2S module to support the AOC-E10GSFPSR optics?
The AOM-SSE-X2F fiber modules for the SSE-G24-TG4 and SSE-G48-TG4 switches support only XFP transceivers. (Note that the transceivers are not included.) The AOC-E10GSFPSR is an SFP+ transceiver. SFP+ is a different form factor from the XFP even though both can connect to the same optical fiber. If you wish to use the AOC-E10GSFPSR (or any other SFP+ transceiver) you will want to use the AOM-SSE-X2S which has two SFP+ ports (again, transceivers not included).
