Question
I am using a dual Xeon motherboard with RedHat Linux, PCI video card, and 4GB memory. The memory count is considerably lower than 4GB and the performance seems really slow. Why?

Current chipsets reserve RAM for some PCI video cards and RedHat Linux runs slower with this configuration. One way to work-around is to use a different memory size (such as 2GB).
