There are two types of Data Security levels described by the Trusted Computing Group(TCG). Industry Standard listed below:


1. (TCG)-Opal: A Self-Encrypting Drive(S.E.D.) is a storage device that integrates encryption of user data at rest. All user data written to the storage device is encrypted by the device Controller and decrypted when read by the host.


2. (TCG)-Pyrite: Provides logical locking of the storage device interface and provides a mechanism to control access to user data.
