We have an X9DRL-IF M/B, recently, we want to add a PCI sound card, but, we find out the M/B PCI Bus slot golden finger is different with our PCI sound card, does the X9DRL-IF PCI slot is the normal correct PCI slot? and if I plug my PCI sound card upside down is ok for use?

Yes, the X9DRL-IF PCI bus slot SPEC is 3.3v_32bit_PCI.
Based on the picture you provided, your PCI sound SPEC is Universal(3.3V & 5V)32bit PCI card, this card can using on our X9DRL-IF M/B for sure.
2. If I plug my PCI sound card upside down is ok for use?
No, that will cause M/B short circuit.
