If want to install the RSC-R1UW-2E16 on the X11DDW-NT motherboard. Do I need to set any Bios settings for he slots on the riser card to be configured correctly?

There is no need to set any Bios settings. The Bios can automatically detect the riser card model and set the correct Bifuracation settings.
