Question
When I boot up my X5DE8-GG system it stops for approximatelly 30 seconds after memory count and checking the IDE devices, and if I detach my IDE DVD player it boots normally.

We have seen this phenomenon with some CDROM/DVD players, please put the drive on SLAVE setting instead of MASTER, you can do this by changing the jumper on the backside of your device.
