Question
I have your 320 SCSI Super Server and would like to use some existing 160 SCSI drive for the Operating System and use new 320 SCSI drives for data storage. Will this configuration slow down the faster drives?

Answer
SCSI is an intelligent interface that can communicate with different speed devices as long as they are using the same protocol. You will not experience any slow down on the 320 SCSI drives if and only if they are on different channels.
