Question
I have a P6DGE/P6DBE motherboard and Windows NT OS. I have upgraded to Windows XP recently and installed an USB printer. However, every time I get into device manager, there is a yellow exclamation mark besides the USB controller and I am unable to use the USB printer. When I contacted Microsoft, they asked me to install service pack 1, but it doesn't help.

Answer
For the P6DGE/P6DBE board, the USB default setting inside BIOS is "disabled", therefore you cannot use the USB ports. You should set it to "enabled" so that the yellow exclamation mark will disappear from the device manager. Then, you can use the USB ports.
