Does Supermicro have a SuperServer solution that reports a failing power supply via E-mail in order to monitor from another location?

Yes we have. You can use either a 2U solution such as the 6023P-8R with 400 Watt dual redundant power supply, or a 4U / Tower solution like our 7043P-8R with 600 Watt triple redundant power supply. This together with the latest version of our SuperOdocter II or III program, enables you to set an E-mail notification on every event, including a failing power supply. For final details please contact our Technical Support department .** Only 1.2 version of the X5DP8-G2 supports this feature.
