Question
I have a P4SGE motherboard with a Pentium 4 3.06GHz CPU. It run's great with Windows XP Professional version with SP1 without Intel's Graphic driver installed. Upon Intel's Graphic driver installation and Windows XP reboot, the system appears to operate normally. After powering the system off and then on again, it will proceed to boot-up, but at Windows XP logo, it will reboot. Upon reboot the following error message is displayed: "We apologize for any inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might cause this". Do you have any suggestions or fix?

This due to a conflict between Pentium 4 3.06ghz processors with Hyper-Threading Technology and Intel's Graphics driver. For temporary work around, disable the CPU Hyper-Threading feature inside the BIOS setup. The latest BIOS Rev. 1.1B from our web site has already fixed this issue.
