Why does my system not operate under 2-way interleaving mode when I use 3 memory modules?

2-way interleaving is only active when there are 2 or 4 memory modules of the same kind in 1 or both channels. If you use 1 or 3 modules, system will automatically switch to single channel. If you use 2 modules of different kinds, system will also run in single channel mode.
