We have encountered a problem with your IPMI SIMLC+ card and X7SB4 motherboard. The IPMI is well viewed in the BIOS of the card, under the OS I have USB device appearing. The IPMI is set to DHCP but impossible to connect on it under DOS or any other OS. All network cables are connected and IP is assigned. IPMI discover utility detect nothing under DOS or under WS 2003R2 64bit. What could be the issue?

The SIMLC+ card that you are using is not compatible with your mainboard you need to use the AOC-SIMLC-HTC or Optional: AOC-SIM1U+-KVM-over-LAN cards.
