Supermicro's 2U Twin/Twin2® SC217 chassis is designed to optimize performance per watt and per dollar with two (D) / four (Q) independent hot-pluggable DP computing nodes efficiently organized into a 2U form factor. Each node supports twelve (D) / six (Q) 2.5" hard drives and is contained in a convenient module to facilitate easy system upgrade, installation and maintenance. Equipped with Gold Level or Platinum Level (94%+) redundant power supplies, power-efficient server board and optimized cooling subsystems. The SC217 chassis series is the best choice for HPC, datacenter and cost-effective blade applications.
