We have a server 5086b-trf with mainboard X8OBN-F. Linux distributions like RHEL 5.6 are not able to connect to the timer interrupt and panics during boot, what is the cause?

SYS-5086B-TRF with Westmere EX CPU needs to use Red Hat 6.0 or Windows 2008 R2 SP1, we don’t support Red Hat 5.x or CentOS 5.x
