I recently purchased a Super Micro X7SPA-HF motherboard, and was excited to try out the IP-KVM feature. I installed IPMIview software on my Mac Mini with Lion and logged fine into the app interface. When launching the KVM console, applet failed with an error no. iKVM64 in java.library.path.
Since KVM sources (AMI & ATEN) are not supported in Mac OS, we don’t have IPMIView for Mac OS. On page 12 of the manual https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/utility/IPMIView/IPMIView20.pdf, there are instructions on adding the jre PATH line. We cannot provide detailed instructions for every OS, because we do not know how the customers have their systems configured.
