Question
I got a problem that my system is not showing POST and hang-up after soft reboot by Ctrl+Alt+Del keys or command "sudo reboot" under Ubuntu 12.04.  Sometimes it will show "mei: Init HW failure" and "mei: Driver initialization failed" messages. Any idea?
The server model is 6017R-N3RF4

Please add one line “blacklist mei” to blacklist file under path /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf in the Ubuntu OS. ME should NOT be reinitialized in OS.
