Does the SATA RAID in the P4SCI, P4SCT, P4SCT+, P4SCT+II support the Linux operating system?

The P4SCI, P4SCT, P4SCT+, P4SCT+II have a "Hance-Rapids" South-Bridge which does support two SATA RAID 0/RAID 1 ports in Windows or Linux Red Hat 9.0, SuSE 8.2 operating system.

Also, the P4SCT+, P4SCT+II include a Marvell 4-port S-ATA RAID controller that does support RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 10 in Windows or Linux RedHat 9.0, 8.0, or SuSE 8.1, SuSE 8.2. However, for RAID 5 you need a ZCR from Adaptec ( available in May, 2004).

Note for Linux drivers it may be necessary to recompile them for your specific operating environment.
