Question System is getting the F9 error code during the POST – what this mean? They have tried booting the machine with one dimm only, still without success. Mobo: X9DRT, BIOS 1.1. IPMI FW 1.63. Any ideas? Answer It means BIOS image corrupt. To save this board, you can rename current released BIOS (i.e. X9DRTH2.B27) to SUPER.ROM and copy it to a USB key. Then power on the failure board.
