Question
After the BIOS in my X9DRi-F motherboard was upgraded to BIOE 3.0, the USB keyboard and mouse would freeze in Windows 2008 R2 every 3 seconds. I am using the Intel E5-2650 processors. All the drivers, including the chipset, LAN and VGA drivers, are installed. Is there any way to fix this issue?
Answer
For the Intel Sandy Bridge processors, please enable QPI Link1 state in BIOS. The setting can be found under Advanced --> Chipset Configuration --> North Bridge --> QPI Configuration --> QPI Link1.
