Question
I installed a Supermicro X10SLM+-LN4F motherboard into a Supermicro SuperChassis 731i-300B. The power supply in this chassis does not have the necessary 12V 8-pin power connector required by the motherboard.

The mother board will work ok with 4 pin power (From chassis power supply)to the 8 pin connector on the mother board (There is only one way to plug in).
