Question We have a customer who is trying to upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10. After downloading the Windows10 upgrade, the computer restarts and begins the installation process. After a while, it shows a brief message saying that the upgrade failed because of an issue related to "ACPI_BIOS_ERROR" (this is the exact error message). It then reverts back to Windows 7. Answer Please change jumper JPME1 to pin 2-3, re-flash the bios, change JPME1 back to pin 1-2, and then try to update windows 10 again. Was this FAQ helpful?
