I would like to use some of your SATA systems, but they are very limited in driver support for some Operating Systems (plus no open source code is available). Will Supermicro start writing more drivers and provide an open source code in the near future?

Adaptec, Intel and LSI write the firmware and driver support for the SATA controllers we use. We provide input to these companies, but can not control the drivers they write. At present, none of these companies provide an open source code.
