Question
I have identified two faster Intel Xeon processors that may function in the X5DPL-8GM
motherboard. I am aware that I may need to purchase new heat sinks and fans for the new processors. Can you please verify if my two selections will function properly in the X5DPL-8GM motherboard?

Selection 1: Intel® Xeon® Processor 3.20 GHz, 1M Cache, 533 MHz FSB, URL

Selection2: Intel® Xeon® Processor 3.20 GHz, 2M Cache, 533 MHz FSB, URL

Yes both processors spec above is can support and run on X5DPL-8GM motherboard and it can use same CPU heat sink that currently had.
