On the A+ G34socket MBs with AMD 6200 series processors (Interlagos), the “C State Mode” option set as “C6” in the BIOS setup page. Systems may hang during shutdown in some Linux OS. Do you have any suggestion?
This is because the older Linux kernel not supporting the AMD 6200 series processors (Interlagos). If you can use FC15 and RHEL 6.1 or update new patch of new kernel linux-2.6.32-131.4.1.el6.x86_64_arat.tar.gz, the problem can be resolved.
