My motherboard is X8DTU-F. Can I use IPMITOOL to manage the BIOS setting?

IPMITOOL is a shareware. Yes, you can use the following command to connect to the BIOS configuration through Serial-over-LAN (SOL).

-Use ipmitool to connect SOL:
# ipmitool -I lanplus -H 192.168.0.100 -U ADMIN -P ADMIN sol activate

-Press "~." to exit SOL console.

-Deactivate SOL:
# ipmitool -I lanplus -H 172.31.9.54 -U ADMIN -P ADMIN sol deactivate

-Check the SOL status:
# ipmitool -I lanplus -H 172.31.9.54 -U ADMIN -P ADMIN sol info

The baud rate used is 115200 bps. Please make sure ports 623/tcp & udp are both opened.
