When 1600MHz DDR3 RDIMM install on my Supermicro G34 socket MB, it only shows 1333MHz in the BIOS. Is there something I need to pay attention?

Answer
1). Make sure your CPU is 6200 series since 6100 series only can support up to 1333 MHz.
2). Make sure your board has the current BIOS. BIOS rev 2.0 or later can support 1600MHz memory and you can download current BIOS from the MB website
3). Make sure the memory spec and the population correctly. You can refer the memory population table on each MB website.
