Regarding all your LSI 2108 based products: updating firmware to the latest version results in different version than indicated.
Controller indicates firmware version is 12.12.0-0047 while we updated manually to version 2.120.53-1235

The firmware version for our LSI 2108 products is a Firmware package of the following items:
Package: 12.12.0-0047
FW_SAS 2.120.53-1235
HWR_SAS_WebBIOS 6.0-37-e_32-Rel
Config_Page_NVDATA 2.09.03-0013

so if the controller indicates firmware package version is 12.12.0-0047 then the SAS firmware version 2.120.53-1235 is installed
