Can you please confirm that MCP-220-00043-0N fits in the following two chassis: 743TQ-865B and 745TQ-R800B?

No, both chassis are not compatible with MCP-220-00043-0N.

For sc743 you can only use CSE-M14T-B or CSE-M24SAB in 5.25” bay(‘s), But the CSE-M24SAB will make some noise because of the fan on the backplane.
For SC745 you need MCP-220-00080-0B
