Question
I am looking at Next Sensor, a program that would allow me to determine the voltage of my Sony battery, as I have been frequently getting Error 0251 ("System LMOS checksum bad -- Default Configuration Used.")

I tried your Super Doctor, but the Vbat capability wasn't there.

My system is: Polywell with Supermicro X7DCA-L, PCB Version/5100 Chipset. CPU Intel Xeon E5450 @ 3.00 GHz, Phoenix BIOS, v. 1.1/08/18/2008.

Please advise whether software such as Next Sensor would be suitable for my circumstance, or whether you have a better/safer recommendation.

Answer
We did not check with that program. If you go in BIOS -> Advanced -> Hardware monitor, it should give you reading on VBAT.
