Question
I have a system using X9SCL-F and X9SCM mainboard. When I boot with Intel or Cavium Octeon card (network card), it doesn't boot at all. When I use VGA card, it does the job and give the boot. Any suggestion?

For X9SC series platform, the link pulling from CPU is dedicated for PEG link and only recommended to support VGA cards only. In order to support this appliance, you can download the latest BIOS (x9scm1.928) or later version from http://www.supermicro.com/support/bios/
It workaround the question you have.
