Question
I have two different cards in my workstation, a Nvidia Tesla and a Nvidia Quadro. In the device manager I can see both the Tesla and the Quadro, but the Tesla is not working. Both use the same driver, but the Nvidia control panel only uses the Quadro, I don't see the Tesla there. Do I need to SLI this or change some BIOS option?

Answer
Please go to C:\Program\Nvidia Corporation\NVSMI\ and use the nvidia_smi.exe utility to set the Tesla from TCC mode to WDDM. For example, if you use the utility, and it lists Device 0 as Tesla with display mode TCC, and Device 1 as Quadro with display mode WDDM. The command you would use to enable video output on the Tesla would be "nvidia_smi.exe -i 0 -fdm 0". There is a .pdf in the folder that explains the usage of the utility.
