What RAID controller is being used on the P8SCT motherboard? In one of these boards on the client side the device manager shows it to be an LSI MegaRAID controller, but your website says it should be an Intel ICH6R controller. Which is it?

Answer
The ICH6R is the hardware controller, which is supported by either Intel or LSI software. The Intel software has Windows drivers while the LSI has both Windows and Linux drivers. There is an option in BIOS which allows you to select between Intel (default) or LSI. Whichever one you select will appear as the controller in the device manager.
