I have an X8SAX motherboard in one of my chassis. Currently it seems the IOH northbridge gets too hot. Is the IOH temperature measured in bios? Can it over heat?

Answer
Yes currently with the latest 1.1 bios there is a IOH thermal control feature. This only applies to boards revision 2.0 or above. This will prevent your IOH from overheating.
