I am building a X8DTN+ system with 2 CPU. I would like to know the performance difference between 10 pieces memories populated and 12 pieces memories populated.

Answer
The memory maximum clock speed can go up to 1066 MHz for both cases. However, according to our internal experiment, the 5-DIMM per CPU performance is still a little bit lower then 6-DIMM per CPU.
