SuperServer 5015A-PHF comes with a riser card for the PCI-E slot . What type of add-on cards does it support? PCI or PCIe?

Motherboard X7SPE-HF can support one PCIe riser card, and the add-on card can be put on it. The motherboard X7SPA-HF is able to fit into the 1U chassis, but it supports no add-on card due to chassis limitation in supporting slot7.
